Katharine "Katie" Hall (born January 6, 1987 in Mercer Island ) is an American road cyclist .

Athletic career

At the age of 27, Katie Hall received her first contract with an international team with the US team UnitedHealthcare . As a result of her late entry into cycling, she is considered a comparatively weak technician.

In 2015 she decided one stage each of the Tour de San Luis , the California Tour and the Thuringia Tour . The following year she won the Tour de San Luis . In 2017 she won again stages in the Tour of the Gila and the California Tour . 2018 was her most successful to date: she won the Joe Martin Stage Race, the Tour of the Gila and the California Tour . The following year she won a stage of the Tour of California .

Professional and private

In addition to her cycling activities, Katie Hall completed a PhD in molecular biology at the University of Berkeley through 2016 .

Hall is 1.63 meters tall and is considered a mountain specialist.
