Katja Hofem (* 1970 in Aalen ) is a German media manager .

Career

Hofem was program director of the station RTL II until 2006 , where she put the programs Big Brother and Popstars on the air. She then took over the co-management of Discovery Communications in Germany until August 2009 and was responsible for the DMAX channel . Since then she has been under contract with ProSiebenSat.1 Media . There she headed the women's channel sixx until January 17, 2013 , after which Hofem took over the management of the Kabel eins channel . From March 1, 2016, Katja Hofem was COO of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH. Since March 15, 2019 she has been Chief Content & Marketing Officer (CCMO) and Co-Managing Director of 7TV and Joyn .
