Katrin Bongard

Katrin Bongard (* 1962 in West Berlin ) is a German artist (painting and film) and writer .

Life

Katrin Bongard, who was born in West Berlin , wanted to be a painter even as a child; she studied art history and has been artistically active with Uwe Carow since 1983. She got into screenwriting through acquaintances from the film industry . Her youth novel Radio Gaga (2005) was also originally a script idea. Like the sequels Radio Gaga on Air (2006) and Rocco (2007), it was published by Beltz & Gelberg . Radio Gaga received the Peter-Härtling-Preis , in 2006 the youth book award of the jury of young readers and the Golden Leslie .

Katrin Bongard is the mother of the actors Isabel Bongard , Leonard Carow and Amber Bongard and represents other young actors with an acting agency. She lives in Potsdam .
