Katrin Seibold
Katrin Seibold (* 1975 ) is a German journalist and presenter .
She studied modern German literature , musicology , philosophy and journalism at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 2002 she graduated with a Magistra Artium. She received her diploma in journalism in 2003 from the Berlin School of Journalism .
She wrote for the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Westfälische Nachrichten and the daily newspaper , among others, and worked as a reporter for the Bavarian Radio and the Second German Television, among others .
Since August 2003 she has been working as an editor , reporter and author for the editorial team of “ Kulturzeit ” on 3sat . She moderated the "3sat Education Barometer", a program that deals with the demographic situation of education in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . For “Kulturzeit” she interviewed Peter Sloterdijk , Martin Walser , Scarlett Johansson , Natalie Portman , James Rosenquist , Merce Cunningham and Frank Stella, among others . At the 58th Berlinale , she presented the “Berlinale Journal” on 3sat. As a writer she shot on behalf of the Second German Television in Thailand, London and New York, among others.
Since 2014 she has also worked as a freelance presenter at book fairs and panel discussions in the fields of literature, history, women and society. In “Kulturzeit” she can be seen regularly as an on reporter in contributions and live switching.
Seibold lives in Wiesbaden .
