Katrine De Candole (* 1983 ) is a German actress . She began her career after studying in London with character portrayals in British television series, and later also in feature films. From 2011 roles for US film productions followed, in 2013 she worked in Spanish productions. Since 2019 she can also be seen in television roles in her native Germany.
Life
De Candole grew up bilingually with German and English as her mother tongue , and speaks fluent French . She studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art from 2003 to 2004 . After it merged with the Central School of Speech and Drama , she continued her acting studies there, which she successfully completed in 2006.
She was first seen in a film in 1998 through her role in Cher: Believe . In 2003 she starred in one episode of the British television series Heartbeat and The Vice , and in the same year she appeared in six episodes as Bahuska Versotko in the mini television series Between the Sheets . In 2005 she took part in the music video for the song Lyla by the group Oasis . In the same year she starred in the television series Hex in the role of Perie the Faerie . In 2009 she had a cast in an episode of the television series Casualty . In 2010 she played the role of Amber Vickers in the television series Emmerdale over two episodes . Supporting roles followed in 2011 in the feature films Love's Kitchen - A Dessert to Fall in Love with and X-Men: First Decision . In 2013 she played one of the leading roles in the Spanish film The Cosmonaut as Yulia and in the same year she appeared in the same role in 23 episodes in the related series spin-off The Cosmonaut: Transmedia Experience . In 2014 she was part of the cast of the American television series Dominion . In 2019 she was seen in an episode of the TV series SOKO Stuttgart .
