Kattegattleden

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kattegattleden is a tourist bike path along the Swedish west coast. It connects the cities of Helsingborg in the south and Gothenburg in the north over a distance of around 390 km.

The route takes cyclists past the towns of Höganäs , Ängelholm , Båstad , Laholm , Halmstad , Falkenberg , Varberg and Kungsbacka . The path is marked with a number one by red and white signs. It is possible to start from different points, as the route can be easily reached by other means of transport - for example by train. Services such as bike rental, luggage transport or overnight accommodation are offered at the starting points in Helsingborg and Gothenburg and, in some cases, at the intermediate stops.
