The Kawinogans River is a right tributary of the Otoskwin River in the Kenora District of the Canadian province of Ontario .
The river has its source west of Kawinogans Lake north of Lake St. Joseph . From there it flows in a predominantly north-northeast direction. It flows through the elongated lake Kawinogans Lake, later passes the place Pickle Lake . It finally flows into the southwest end of Badesdawa Lake , which is traversed by the Otoskwin River.
The Kawinogans River has a length of about 140 km. Its catchment area covers 1540 km². The mean discharge is 15 m³ / s.
