Kazimieras Liudvikas Valančius

Kazimieras Liudvikas Valančius (born September 20, 1936 in Medsėdžiai , Wolost Plateliai , now Plungė district ; † September 18, 2018 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian lawyer, business lawyer, dean, professor at Kazimieras Simonavičius University .

Life

After graduating from high school, he graduated in 1967 with a law degree from the Vilniaus universitetas in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius and in 1970 the CPSU party college in Moscow , Russia. In 1975 he received his doctorate on the subject of "Organization of cultural management in the Lithuanian SSR " ( Kultūros valdymo organizavimas Lietuvos TSR ) in Belarus . From 1958 to 1961 he worked in the Telšiai district community . From 1961 to 1964 he was a Lithuanian Komsomol employee and then a member of the Lietuvos komunistų partija

From 1970 to 1982 he taught at the party college in Vilnius and from 1976 to 1981 worked at Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas of Soviet Lithuania. From 1990 to 1993 he worked as a senior lawyer at the Ministry of Construction and Urbanism of the Republic of Lithuania , and from 1994 to 2004 as legal advisor to the Lithuanian Bishops' Conference . 1990–2008 he taught at the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas , from 2003 to 2013 as a professor at the Kazimiero Simonavičiaus universitetas (from 2004 Vilniaus verslo teisės akademija).

From 2002 he was a member of the Lietuvių katalikų mokslo akademija .
