Kazimieras Meilius
Kazimieras Meilius (born December 8, 1958 in Rimšėnai , Ignalina district ; † March 28, 2017 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian canon lawyer , professor at the Mykolas-Romer University and priest .
biography
After graduating from the Ignalina Middle School from 1964 to 1976 , Kazimieras Meilius graduated from the Kaunas Seminary and in 1996 at the Institute of Civil and Canon Law of the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome and obtained a doctorate in Canon Law in 1999, Doctor of Canon Law .
From 1996 he was vice-official of the official office of the Archdiocese of Vilnius . From 1999 to 2003 he was a professor at the Vilnius Pedagogical University , from 1999 to 2008 at the Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas in Kaunas and from 2000 at the Law University of Lithuania (from 2004 MRU) in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . From 2006 he taught as a professor .
