Kazimierz Czarnecki (weightlifter)
Kazimierz Czarnecki (born March 5, 1948 in Ostróda ) is a former Polish weightlifter .
Career
Kazimierz Czarnecki started lifting weights at the “Swit” Nowym Dworze Mazowiecky sports club. Its discoverer was Tadeusz Golębiowski and its first trainers were Stanislaus Życiński and Marian Jankowski. When he moved up into the Polish national team, he was also looked after by Klemens Roguski and August Dziedzic.
In 1971 he achieved his first regional successes. In 1972, however, he did not make the jump to the Olympic team. In 1976, however, he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games lightweight . Noteworthy was his strength in snatching, where he even set a world record in 1976.

- 1975, 2nd place , tournament in Zaporozhye , Le, with 295 kg, behind Petro Korol , USSR, 310 kg and in front of Muskatiewicz, GDR, 285 kg;
- 1975, 4th place ( 4th place ), WM + EM in Moscow , Le, with 300 kg, behind Korol, 312.5 kg, Zbigniew Kaczmarek , Poland , 312.5 kg and Kutschew, 302.5 kg;
- 1976, bronze medal , OS in Montreal , Le, with 295 kg, behind Korol, 305 kg and Daniel Senet , France , 300 kg;
