Kazuki Yoshinaga (born July 31, 1999 ) is a Japanese short tracker .

Career

Yoshinaga started internationally for the first time at the 2015 Junior World Championships in Osaka . There he was ninth in the all-around competition and fifth in the relay. He made his debut in the World Cup in October 2015 in Montreal , which he finished in 15th place in both races over 1500 m and in seventh and fifth over 1000 m. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , he won the bronze medal with the mixed relay and the silver medal over 500 m. In March 2016 he won the world championships in Seoul with the 46th place over 1000 m, the 30th place over 500 m and the 13th place over 1500 m, the 32nd place in the all-around competition. At the Junior World Championships 2017 in Innsbruck he won the bronze medal in the all-around competition and at the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo the bronze medal with the relay. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he achieved his first podium in the World Cup with third place in the relay in Budapest . At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Tomaszów Mazowiecki , he won the gold medal with the relay. At the highlight of the season, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he came in 13th place over 1000 m and seventh place with the relay. In March 2018 he won the bronze medal with the relay at the World Championships in Montreal. In addition, he ran there in the all-around on the 11th place. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he won his first World Cup victory in Calgary over 1500 m. This was followed by second places with the relay in Dresden and Turin and at the end of the season sixth place in the World Cup over 1500 m. At the 2019 Junior World Championships in Montreal, he won the bronze medal in the 1000 m.
