Kazys Sivickis

Kazys Sivickis (born January 23, 1951 in Žarėnai , Telšiai district ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1958 to 1962 he learned in Plauskiniai with Plungė . After graduating from high school in 1969 in Žarėnai near Telšiai , he completed his diploma studies at the Faculty of Hydromelioration of the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1974 and from 1985 to 1989 the traineeship in Moscow . In 1991 he received his doctorate in Belarus . From 1974 to 1978 he worked at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania , from 1978 to 1981 as an instructor at Lietuvos komunistų partija , from 1981 to 1988 as Deputy Minister for Improvement and Water Management , from 1988 to 1991 at the association “Lietuvos melioracija”, from 1991 to 1993 as Deputy Minister Chairman and from 1993 as chairman of the association Lietuvos melioracijos įmonių asociacija . In 2004 he was elected to the Seimas parliament. From 1998 to 2000 he taught at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas as senior assistant, lecturer, and from 2002 as lecturer.

From 2002 he was a member of the Valstiečių ir Naujosios democijos partijų sąjunga , from 2005 of the Valstiečių liaudininkų sąjunga .

He is a council member of Lietuvos Respublikos žemės ūkio rūmai .

He is married. With his wife Stasė (* 1953) he has the son Džeraldas (* 1974) and the daughter Loreta (* 1978).
