Keižonys is a village with 55 inhabitants (as of 2011) in Lithuania . It is located in the district of Upninkai , in the east of the Jonava district ( Kaunas district ), 19 kilometers southeast of the central town of Jonava , 7 km from Upninkai , 10 km from Gelvonai , 12 km from Rukla , 15 km from Vepriai , 19 km from Šilai and 19 km from the middle town of Kaišiadorys . In 2001 there were 79 inhabitants in the village (1959: around 269). The zip code is LT-55480.
Objects
There is a cemetery. The Upninkai Linden ( Upninkų liepos ) has been a natural monument since 1984. From 1996 to 1998 there was a company ( Zenono Vaitkevičiaus įmonė ) here, and from 2006 to 2007 the Leonas Simniška Foundation ( Leono Simniškos labdaros ir paramos fondas ), founded by first Lithuanian balloon pilot. Until August 21, 2013 there was a Keižonys medical point here , a branch of the Upninkai ambulance ( Viešosios įstaigos Upninkų ambulatorijos filialas Keižonių medicinos punktas ).
