Keio Group
The Keio Group ( Japanese 京 王 グ ル ー プ , Keiō Gurūpu ) is a Japanese group based in Tama in Tokyo Prefecture . It is structured around the Keiō Dentetsu railway company . Its affiliated companies operate in the transportation, real estate, retail, leisure and services sectors, with most geared towards adding value to the Keio rail network in Tokyo's western suburbs . In the 2018/19 financial year, the Keio Group comprised 56 companies that together employed around 20,000 people and generated sales of 447.08 billion yen (approx. 3.67 billion euros ).
