Keisuke Ōta ( Japanese 太 田 圭 輔 Ōta Keisuke ; born July 23, 1981 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ōta learned to play football in the youth team of Shimizu S-Pulse . He signed his first contract with Shimizu S-Pulse in 2000. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2001 he was loaned to the second division Ventforet Kofu . For the club he completed 43 league games. In 2002 he returned to Shimizu S-Pulse. In 2005 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club, he completed 60 top division games. In 2007 he moved to league rivals Kashiwa Reysol . In 2008 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup. For the club he completed 57 first division games. In 2009 he moved to league rivals JEF United Chiba . At the end of the 2009 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 48 league games. In 2012 he moved to league competitor Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 31 league games. In 2014 he moved to league rivals FC Gifu . For the club he completed 38 league games. At the end of 2015, he ended his career as a football player.
