In 1993 Duffy was a founding member of the Irish hit band Boyzone . With this band he celebrated his biggest hit in 1998 with No Matter What (the song from the musical Whistle Down the Wind by Andrew Lloyd Webber ). In 2000 the band split up and Keith Duffy joined the very successful English daily soap Coronation Street .
Duffy has been married to his "sandpit friend" Lisa Smith since 1998 and has two children with her, Jordan (* 1996) and Mia (* 2000).
