The house Kellerberg 2 (Annaburg) is a listed building in Annaburg in the district of Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt . It is located opposite the building of today's secondary school. It is known as the former stud of the city of Annaburg.
history
In 1793, the Saxon Cabinet Minister Camillo Graf Marcolini founded the Saxon Country Foal Education Institute in Annaburg. The stud was expanded in 1800 by the establishment of branches in Glücksburg and Moritzburg. Fourteen years later the stud was closed by the Russian military governor at the time. In the 19th century the building was used as a sheep farm, with the residential building, which is now a listed building, being used as a stable. A school building from 1903 is now on the site of the former main building.
description
The building is an elongated one-story half-timbered building with a half-hipped roof. The massive masonry gable ends are structured by encircling pilaster strips in the style of the Dresden late baroque .
