Sebastian Bradatsch (born May 8, 1996 in Magdeburg ) is a German ski jumper .

Career

Bradatsch was born in Magdeburg and grew up in Trusetal in Thuringia. In summer 2013 he switched to the ski boarding school in Oberstdorf.

He made his international debut on February 26th, 2011 in a youth competition in Baiersbronn , where he finished 2nd. He later started in the FIS Cup and the Alpine Cup.

In 2012 Sebastian Bradatsch set two hill records. He holds the record on both the Langewaldschanze in Schonach with 106.5 meters and the HS 106 in Oberstdorf with 106.5 meters.

In February 2013 he won silver in team competition and gold in mixed competition at the European Youth Olympic Festival on the Trambulina Valea Cărbunării in Râşnov .

At the end of 2013 Bradatsch started as part of the national group in the qualification for the New Year's jumping , but he did not reach the competition. At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Val di Fiemme, he narrowly missed a medal in fourth place in the individual competition. In the team he finished 5th together with Paul Winter , Michael Herrmann and Dominik Mayländer . In summer 2014, the Thuringian collected first points at the Grand Prix in Almaty in 21st and 28th place. In the Four Hills Tournament 2014/15 he was used in the national group in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen .
