The Kelley Peak is a 1710 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises at the southern end of the Liberty Hills on the west side of the Horseshoe Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1967 after Charles C. Kelley of the United States Navy , who died as a member of the crew in the crash of the Douglas LC-47J Spirit of McMurdo on the Ross Ice Shelf .
