Kelly Parker (born March 8, 1981 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a former Canadian soccer player . She played for the Canadian national team in midfield .
Career
Parker made her first international match against Brazil on July 17, 2003, when she was 22 . This was their only use until the Cyprus Cup in 2009, in which Canada lost to England in the final . In 2010 Parker won the Cyprus Cup with Canada and scored her first of three international goals against Poland. During 2010 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup , won the Canada, it was not used. In 2011, Parker was used in two friendly matches and was appointed to the Canadian squad for the World Cup. She was substituted on in the opening game against Germany in the second half and thus for her first World Cup game. In the other group games she was no longer used and Canada was eliminated with three defeats in the preliminary round.
She was also nominated for the 2012 Olympic Games and was used in three out of six games, where she was substituted on.
