The Kelly St. George River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is located in the Far North Queensland region .
geography
The river rises about 110 km northwest of Cairns and west of Daintree National Park in the Atherton Tablelands , part of the Great Dividing Range . It flows in many meanders to the southwest and crosses under the Mulligan Highway . After 36 km it forms the St. George River with Spring Creek .
