Kelsey Soccio (born May 24, 1998 in Langenhagen ) is a German ice hockey player of Canadian origin.

Athletic career

At an early age, Kelsey Soccio learned to play ice hockey. Through her father, the former professional player Len Soccio , she quickly grasped the fascination of the sport of skiing. Her first club was SC Langenhagen , where she went through the male junior teams. In 2012, it ran for the first time for the SCL women's team. In the 2013/14 season she also received a sponsorship license for the 1st Women's Bundesliga from ECDC Memmingen .

In January 2015, she played her first U-18 World Cup in France.

In the 2015/16 season she and her team "Lady Jets" won the championship of the 2nd League North East. At the same time they secured promotion to the 1st women's national league.

In 2015, Kelsey Soccio was voted Sportswoman of the Year in Langenhagen.

In January 2016 she played her second U-18 World Cup in Hungary and secured second place with her team. In summer 2016 she moved to the OSC Eisladies in Berlin.

In December 2018, she moved to the Mad Dogs Mannheim within the Bundesliga .
