Kenneth Higgins

Kenneth Higgins (born December 26, 1919 in London , † January 22, 2008 on the Isle of Wight ) was a British cameraman .

Life

Higgins began working in film with a company specializing in documentaries. He also worked as a cameraman during his military service in World War II . Higgins found his way to the cinema through television, for which he worked from the beginning of the 1950s, and was employed there as chief cameraman from 1963. Shortly thereafter, he received a nomination for an Oscar for best camera for his cinematography with Georgy Girl . With his other films he could no longer build on this success.
