Kenneth Abel

Kenneth Abel (* 1962 ; actually Sergei Lobanov-Rostovsky ) is an American literary scholar and crime writer.

Career

Sergei Lobanov-Rostovsky grew up near New Orleans . In 1982 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University Baton Rouge . In 1985 he graduated from Stanford and in 1989 from Harvard with a Master of Arts . In 1993 he became a Doctor of Philosophy at Harvard University. He has been teaching English at Kenyon College in Gambier , Ohio since 1993 . He lives in Columbus , Ohio. Under the pseudonym Kenneth Abel, he published several detective novels, which were also translated into German.
