Kenworthy James Thompson (born May 29, 1881 in Oakengates , Telford and Wrekin ; † November 25, 1933 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin , USA ) is a former British ice hockey player who worked for the Montreal Wanderers in 1913-1918, among others of the National Hockey League played on the position of the left winger .

Career

Thompson played between 1913 and 1916 for various lower-class teams in the Montreal region , including the Montreal Shamrocks and Laval University . In 1916 he joined the Montreal Wanderers from the National Hockey Association , with whom he joined the newly formed National Hockey League for the 1917/18 season and ran up once for the team. Shortly after the start of the season, however, the Wanderers ultimately had to stop playing because their venue had burned down on the foundation walls in a fire.

As a result, the native Englishman ended his career.
