Kensuke Ushio

Kensuke Ushio ( Japanese 牛尾 憲 輔 Ushio Kensuke , born March 1, 1983 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese composer , rock and EBM musician.

Career

Ushio learned to play the piano in preschool . At the university he studied art and music. He also learned how to use the Pro Tools audio editor software . At the age of 20, Ushio first came into contact with electronic music, especially techno .

Ushio began his musical solo career in 2007 and has been playing under the pseudonym agraph since the beginning . electronic music. In December 2008, his debut album A Day, Phases , that was produced by Takkyu Ishino was released; Two years later, the second album, Equal , followed , which entered the album charts at number 110 . In November 2016 his third album, The Shader, was released, which also reached the charts.

In 2011 Ushio founded the rock band LAMA with several former members of the J-Rock bands Supercar and Number Girl, with which he released two full studio albums.

Ushio also works as a composer for film music and developed the music for various anime series and films, such as Ping Pong , Space Dandy , A Silent Voice , Devilman Crybaby , Liz and a Blue Bird and Boogiepop .
