Kent Scholz (born October 16, 1968 ) is a former German football player and coach . During his time as an active player he played in Denmark, among others .
biography
Kent Scholz comes from Flensburg and moved to Esbjerg fB in Denmark at the beginning of 1990 . He played for the club for almost seven years and joined Vejle BK in early 1997 . He completed 100 games for the club. With the club he played in the 1998/99 season in the UEFA Cup .
In 2001 he left Danish football and moved to Flensburg 08 . Shortly after his arrival, in September 2001, he took over the position of coach and acted as a player- coach . In 2003 Scholz ended his playing career and remained a coach; In 2005 he resigned.

Kent Scholz is married. He is a German and a Danish citizen. His son Alexander (* 1992) is also a soccer player and has been playing for FC Midtjylland since August 2018 .
