Kerry Joel Lynch (born July 31, 1957 in Denver , Colorado ) is a former American Nordic combined athlete .
Lynch was national champion in Nordic combined in 1981, 1983 and 1986. He entered the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . In the individual competition, he finished 18th. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , he improved to 13th place.
Lynch was runner-up at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987 . After blood doping was detected in a doping test , he lost second place and was banned for another two years.
