Kerstin Linnartz (born August 4, 1976 in Eschweiler ) is a German presenter, author and entrepreneur.

Career

Kerstin Linnartz completed her training as a television journalist at NBC Europe. She hosted her first television show in 1998 on NBC Europe with " NBC GIGA ". In 2000 the magazine " Heartbeat " went on air on NBC Europe , the concept of which she developed herself. Immediately afterwards, she moderated the programs “Sonnenklar”, “Traveler” and “Urlaubswelt” on 9Live and Tele 5 . In 2004 she moderated the Sat.1 programBLITZ ”. Afterwards she was on the air with her travel program “GLOBE” on N24 and Tele 5. She trained as an actor with Ron Burrus in Los Angeles . In 2005 she made various films and had guest appearances in television series. This was followed by moderation for Deutsche Welle TV. With the bilingual culture and lifestyle program “ euromaxx - Life and Culture in Europe ”, Kerstin Linnartz was also on air abroad.

In 2007, 2008 and 2009 she stood in front of the camera for various television series and presented the programs “Million Euro Challenge”, “Beat the stars”, “Heads Up” and live broadcasts in boxing (World Cup fights) for the German private broadcaster DSF and the US production “Europe's Greatest Stunts” for the American market. In 2006 she played the lead female role in the English-language drama Half Past Ten based on a novel by Marguerite Duras . In 2010 she was still on the air for the broadcaster sport1 (formerly DSF) with the formats “Heads Up” and “Beat the stars”. Since 2011 she has presented the lifestyle format "Life & Harmony" for Yahoo! Germany . She also moderates live events in German and English.

In 2013 her book All about Yoga was published . Her second book Business Yoga was published in March 2015 . In 2016 her DVD “Chakra Yoga” and her third book “Kerstin Linnartz: My Yoga Essentials” were released.

Apart from the show business, Linnartz is committed to charity organizations in Germany and India . She has a special bond with India, as she had her winter residence there for seven years.

Life

Kerstin Linnartz has lived in her adopted home Berlin since 2004. Until 2012 she had a winter residence in India for a total of seven years and ran a yoga resort there. Their daughter was born in May 2015.
