Kevin Kelly (born May 13, 1978 ) is a former Irish ice hockey goalkeeper who played for the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League .

Career

Kevin Kelly began his career as a hockey player in Dublin with the Flyers Ice Hockey Club, for which he also played in the Irish Ice Hockey League at times. In this league he also played for local rivals Dublin Rams . In 2006 he moved to Northern Ireland, where he was on the ice for one season for the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League . Then he retired from club sports.

International

For Ireland , Kelly took part in the Division III World Championships in 2004 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 and 2010 , when he was the best goalkeeper of the tournament and made a significant contribution to promotion to Division II, as well as in the 2011 Division II World Championship .
