society

Vandenbergh started his career in the youth team of KVC Westerlo and was accepted into the first team at the age of 17. Here he won the national cup in 2001 . A year later he switched to the then reigning Belgian champion KRC Genk . There he was able to score 15 goals for his team in the first season and received a place in the regular team in the following season. On July 30, 2008 Vandenbergh was loaned to Germinal Beerschot Antwerp for one season .

For the 2010/11 season Vandenbergh moved to the Belgian first division promoted KAS Eupen . After playing 27 league games in which he scored nine goals, he moved to KV Mechelen in the summer of 2011 . From there he finally came to KVC Westerlo at the end of August , for which he only came to sporadic assignments. In the 2012/13 season he played 18 league games and was also successful as a goalscorer with seven goals, but only made five league appearances in the following season, in which, however, he scored four more times. In 2015 he switched to KFC Dessel Sport and since 2016 Vandenbergh has been playing for the lower class club SC Aarschot (then 7th league). In his first season there he scored 60 goals in Provinciale 2 Brabant .
