Kevin Zschimmer (born March 3, 1993 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player . The 1.76 m tall midfielder has been under contract with the Hamburg Turnerschaft von 1816 since 2020 .

Athletic career

Zschimmer played in the youth team at MSV Hamburg , where he drew the attention of those responsible at the Hamburg Football Association and was appointed to the association's youth team in 2006. Later he moved to the youth department of Hamburger SV . He left this in summer 2011 for Hallescher FC .

At Halleschen FC, Zschimmer first played for a year in the U19 team, which competed in the first-class A-Junior Bundesliga North / Northeast. With 16 goals in 23 missions, he was the top scorer there and thus contributed to the team's relegation. After exceeding the age limit, Zschimmer moved up to the reserve team in 2012. At the same time, he was one of four perspective players alongside Maximilian Hecht, Stephane Mvibudulu and Dennis Carl, who also played mainly in the U23 team, in the squad of the first team competing in the third division . In October he made his debut in a 2-0 defeat by Wacker Burghausen in professional football when he came on for Jan Beneš in the closing stages . However, this was his only use in the professional team of the club, three more times he was without use in the squad. Instead, Zschimmer belonged to the tribe of the secondary agency. With eight goals in 28 missions there, he was one of the top scorers of the team that was in the top group of the fifth-class Oberliga Nordost at the end of the season .

In summer 2013 he left the HFC and moved to the regional league club VfR Neumünster . After two seasons he moved to the Hamburg Oberliga for SC Victoria Hamburg . As early as the next season he moved to SC Concordia Hamburg within the league . In summer 2019 he moved to the Schleswig-Holstein Association for WSV Tangstedt. In winter 2020 he moved back to the Hamburg Oberliga for Hamm United FC . In the summer of 2020 he switched to the district league club Hamburger Turnerschaft von 1816 .
