Kfar Adumim

Kfar Adumim ( Hebrew כְּפַר אֲדֻמִּים) is an Israeli communal settlement in Judea ( West Bank ). It is located in the Judean Desert and is under the jurisdiction of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council . In 2007, the settlement had a population of around 2500, according to a 2016 census by the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics , it had 4271 inhabitants.

Khan al-Ahmar , a Bedouin village, is located between Kfar Adumim and Maʿale Adummim .

The village was founded in September 1979, and the name was taken from the Bible (Joshua 15: 7), like the nearby Ma'ale Adummim.
