Khatoed ( Dzongkha : ཁ་ སྟོད་ ) is one of 4 Gewogs (blocks) of the Dzongkhags Gasa in northwest Bhutan . Khatoed Gewog is in turn divided into 5 Chiwogs (constituencies). Around 166 people live in this mass (as of 2005 census, recent estimates assume 426 people) on an area of ​​326 km² in 23 (or 22) villages or hamlets in around 60 households.

In addition to the Gewog Administration, there is a secondary school, the Gasa Lower Secondary School , a station for basic health care, an office for the development of renewable natural resources (Renewable Natural Resource Extension Center), a branch of the national telephone company Bhutan Telecom and a service center (Guard Office) of Jigme Dorji National Park .

There is also a Buddhist monastery, Zhapsha Gonpa.
