The Kieskautberg is a 461 m high mountain two kilometers south of Carlsberg in the east of the Diemersteiner Forest , as part of the northern Palatinate Forest is called.
The border between the association communities Freinsheim south and Leiningerland north runs over the mountain . The mountain is covered by mixed forest. The summit is accessed from Hertlingshausen by a hiking trail of the Palatinate Forest Association , which is marked with .
