The Kigwancha Sports Club or Kigwancha Sports Team (기관차 체육 단), mostly simply called Lokomotive Sinŭiju , is a football club from the city of Sinŭiju , which is located in the North Korean province of P'yŏngan-pukto in the immediate vicinity of the Chinese border.
history
The club was founded in January 1956 and plays in the highest league in the country, the DPR Korea League .
Stadion
The Siniju Stadium , which holds 17,500 spectators, is used for home games .

Champion of DPR Korea League: 5th
- 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000
In 2006 the team was third in the league. In 2016, Kigwancha SC moved into the play-offs of the AFC Cup 2017 , the opposing club has yet to be determined.
