Kilian Eyerich

Kilian Eyerich (* 1979 ) is a German university professor for dermatology and venereology.

Life

Eyerich began to study medicine at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . Like his great-grandfather Karl Eyerich , he was the fifth of his family to be active in the Corps Moenania Würzburg . When he was inactive , he moved to the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Sydney . At the Technical University of Munich , he was in 2007 summa cum laude for Dr. med. PhD ( J. Ring , H. Behrendt, C. Traidl-Hoffmann). After research stays in Rome and London, he also graduated with a Ph.D. He completed his specialist training in dermatology with the additional qualification in allergology in Munich. In 2011 he completed his habilitation at the Technical University of Munich. After two years as a senior physician at the Klinik am Biederstein , he joined the Extraordinariat Experimental Dermatoimmunology in 2014 as part of the Heisenberg program . The Karolinska Institute appointed him as Professor of Dermatology and Venereology on August 1, 2019.
