Kilian Hennessy

Kilian Hennessy (born February 19, 1907 , † October 2, 2010 in Switzerland ) was a French businessman.

Life

Kilian Hennessy was the fifth generation leader of Hennessy , founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy . In 1971, Hennessy was involved in the merger with the champagne brand Moët & Chandon as Chief Executive Officer . In 1987, this became Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton through further mergers . Until his death, Hennessy was a member of the company's advisory board . Hennessy last lived alternately in Switzerland and in the family's castle in Saint-Brice in the Charente department in France .
