Kilian Nuß (born March 21, 1936 ; † August 15, 2015 in Tübingen ) was a German Roman Catholic clergyman .

Live and act

Kilian Nuß was born and raised in Duttenberg, now part of Bad Friedrichshall . He studied theology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and was ordained a priest in 1962 . From 1972 to 1983 he was director of the Bischöflichen Konvikt in Rottweil and from 1980 director of the theologenkonvikt Wilhelmsstift in Tübingen . In 1987 Pope John Paul II awarded him the honorary title of Monsignor . Finally, from 1995 to 2008, Nuss took over the pastor's position in Filderstadt .

In addition, Nuss was a member of the founding board of the Marchtaler Boarding Schools and had been chairman of the Bischof-Moser Foundation since 2004 .
