Kim Braden
Kim Braden (* 1949 in London , England ) is an English actress .
Life
Braden is the daughter of actor and show master Bernard Braden and actress Barbara Kelly . She married the director David Carson , with whom she has a son born in 1983 and a daughter born in 1988.
She had her first small television appearance in 1960 in the series The Rolling Stones . She became known in 1972 through the lead role Anne Shirley in the mini-series Anne of Green Gables . In 1975 she also played in the follow-up series Anne of Avonlea . She appeared in other series, such as Penmarric (1979), To Serve Them All My Days (1980–1981), Spearfield's Daughter (1986), for which she received a Gemini Award nomination, Spacecop LA (1990), Starship Enterprise: The Next Century (1990) and The Falls of Rosie O'Neill (1990).
Films she starred in include Das Ungeheuer (1970), The Man Who Came to Dinner (1972), Billy Boy - Der Boxchampion (1978), Perry Mason: The Case of the Glass Coffin (1991), Silent Cries (1993 ) and Star Trek: Gathering of Generations (1994) in which she plays Picard's wife.
