Kimberley Coles (born January 11, 1966 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actress and comedian .
Life
Coles has appeared on several television series , including Frasier (where she became known as "Dr." Mary Thomas), Six Feet Under, and The Geena Davis Show . It is best known for her role as Synclaire James in on FOX broadcast sitcom Living Single . Coles also wrote a book; it is entitled "I'm Free But It Will Cost You".
She also took a weight loss trip on VH1 . After 16 weeks, she weighed just under eleven kilograms and her body fat content had dropped by almost 4 percent from 34.7% to 31%. She did this with the help of her team "Ralphie's Angels" (name later changed to "3 Fat Bastards and a Black Biyatch").
