Kim Farrant (born September 7, 1975 in Melbourne ) is an Australian film director , screenwriter and film producer . She achieved international fame for her feature films Without a Trace: A Storm Will Come and Angel of Mine .

life and career

Born in Melbourne in 1975, Kim Farrant has an acting background after training with Eric Morris in Los Angeles and the Sydney Acting Center for two years . She herself has trained thousands of actors over the years with her unique technique that actors describe as life changing.

She began her career as a director and screenwriter at the end of the 1990s, initially with short and documentary films. In 2015 she finally staged her first own feature film with the Australian-Irish co-production Spurlos: A Storm Will Come , which she also co-produced. Nicole Kidman , Joseph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving played the leading roles . For this film she received a nomination for the Sydney Film Prize in the category Best Film at the Sydney Film Festival . In 2019, she directed the mystery thriller Angel of Mine with Noomi Rapace and Luke Evans .
