Kim Ivanovich Buchanzov

Kim Ivanovich Buchanzow ( Russian Ким Иванович Буханцов , English transcription Kim Bukhantsov; born November 25, 1931 in Kazanskaja , Rostov Oblast ) is a former Soviet discus thrower .

In 1956 he was twelfth at the Olympic Games in Melbourne and in 1958 fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm .

Eighth place at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome was followed by a ninth place at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In 1958 and 1963 he was Soviet champion. He set his personal best of 59.47 m on May 1, 1962 in Lesselidze .
