Kim Jin-su (born June 13, 1992 in Jeonju ) is a South Korean soccer player who is currently under contract with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors . Kim is mainly used as a left-back.
Career
society
Kim played for Singal High School and Kyung Hee University as a youth . In 2012 Albirex Niigata signed him . On February 19, 2012, Kim made his professional debut against Vissel Kobe in a friendly, which Albirex won 3-0. He made his debut in Japan's J. League Division 1 in March 2012 against Kawasaki Frontale , where he played 90 minutes. At Albirex Niigata he was considered an absolute top performer.
For the 2014/15 season he was signed by TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where he replaced Fabian Johnson , who moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach . Kim has a contract until June 30, 2018. Kim played his first game for Hoffenheim on August 17, 2014 in the DFB Cup against USC Paloma . In the Bundesliga Kim debuted on August 23, 2014 home game against FC Augsburg . By the end of January 2016, he had played 34 Bundesliga games (no hit). After Julian Nagelsmann took over the team in February 2016, Kim did not come to any more assignments.
After his home vacation during the winter break, Kim did not return to Hoffenheim in January 2017, but switched to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors for the 2017 K League Classic season .
National team
Kim participated in the 2009 U-17 World Cup and the 2011 U-20 World Cup for the South Korean national team. On July 20, 2013 Kim made his debut for the South Korean national team against Australia . The game ended 0-0.
Kim took part in the 2015 Asian Cup with the national team.
