Kim Rae-won (born March 19, 1981 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actor and model.

Life

In his youth, Kim wanted to become a professional basketball player but had to give it up due to a tendon injury. He turned to acting and has starred in a number of TV dramas and romantic comedies that made him famous. With the film Sunflower , Kim tried a role far removed from his usual image, for which he received a lot of praise from the critics. From 2009 to the end of August 2011, he did a two-year alternative military service in the Namsan library.
