Kim Rogers (born May 14, 1980 in Vancouver ) is a former Canadian soccer player who played two seasons in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich .
Career
During her high school years at the Semiahmoo Secondary School in White Rock, Rogers was active five seasons, three as team captain , for the women's soccer team in the Fraser Valley League , organized under the NCAA Association , and was also the Most Valuable Player during this time .
During the time she enrolled for two years at the University of Texas at El Paso , she was active for their women's soccer team, the Miners , in the Western Athletic Conference . During this time she was also a member of the U-20 national team of British Columbia , with which she won the gold medal at the 1998 Canadian Summer Games and at the 1999 Western Canadian Summer Games .
In 2000 she moved to San Diego State University , for their women's football team, the San Diego State Aztecs , they played 19 of 21 season games in the Mountain West Conference and on November 1, in the 3-0 win in Las Vegas against New Mexico , scored their only goal with the goal to 1-0 in the 31st minute.
For the 2003/04 season she was a member of FC Bayern Munich , for which she played 15 point games and scored three goals in her Bundesliga premiere season. Their debut on August 17, 2003 (1st matchday) in the 1: 4 defeat in the away game against SC 07 Bad Neuenahr lasted over 90 minutes. She scored her first Bundesliga goal on August 24, 2003 (2nd matchday) in a 3-2 win at home against FCR Duisburg with the goal to make it 1-1 in the 34th minute. After only one season, she left FC Bayern Munich and returned to the 2005/06 season . In her second season she only played three point games; her last on December 11, 2005 (11th matchday) in the 5-0 defeat in the home game against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam , before she was substituted for Julia Simic in the 64th minute.
