Kimberly Drewniok (born August 11, 1997 in Balve ) is a German volleyball player . The diagonal attacker played for various clubs in the Bundesliga and was cup winner and runner-up with SSC Palmberg Schwerin . She will play in the 2020/21 season

Career

Drewniok began her career at RC Sorpesee , with whom she rose to the third division. In 2014 she moved to the VC Olympia Berlin youth team and played in the Bundesliga. In the 2015/16 season , the diagonal attacker had double play rights at VC Olympia and Bundesliga club SC Potsdam . In the following season she was part of the squad of the Potsdam women who reached the playoff quarter-finals.

Drewniok made her senior national team debut in 2017 . Then she moved to the league competitor 1. VC Wiesbaden . In the 2017/18 DVV Cup , she reached the final with the club against Dresdner SC . In the Bundesliga playoffs , the VCW had to admit defeat in the quarter-finals. Then Drewniok was committed by SSC Palmberg Schwerin . With the club she won the VBL Supercup at the beginning of the season . Schwerin then won the DVV Cup final against Stuttgart, while the playoff final was lost to the same opponent. In DVV Cup 2019/20 Drewniok came to the club to the semifinals. When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Schwerin was in first place in the table. Then Drewniok moved to Italy to Savino Del Bene Scandicci .
