The mountain Kimshung (also Tsangbu Ri ) is located in the mountain range Langtang Himal in the central Himalayas in the Nepalese administrative zone Bagmati .

The 6781  m high mountain located north of the river valley of Langtang Khola in Langtang National Park . The Langtang Lirung is 4 km west of the Kimshung. The Chinese border is 2 km from the summit. The Kimshung Glacier stretches along the eastern flank into the Langtang Valley, along the western flank the Lirung Glacier .
