The King Pin is a 820 m high nunatak on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Wilson Piedmont Glacier, it rises about halfway between Mount Doorly and Hogback Hill .
Participants in a 1958 to 1959 campaign of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after the American helicopter King Pin , which was used for this and other campaigns.
