Ports is located about 39 kilometers south-southwest of Tours on the Vienne , which borders the community in the east. Ports is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marcilly-sur-Vienne in the north and north-west, Nouâtre in the east, Port-de-Piles in the south-east, Pussigny in the south, Marigny-Marmande in the west and south-west and Luzé in the west.
